I’m Courtney, your go-to PNW outdoor adventure, couples, and wedding photographer. With over 12 years of experience behind the lens, I've cultivated a deep passion for capturing the raw beauty of nature and the genuine love shared between people.

North Seattle based; born and raised in Michigan, I moved to Seattle in 2017 to chase the massive landscapes I was intensely awed by on a map only years prior. In college I was the university photographer which meant part-time coverage for event, students, portraits, you name it. From 2018 to 2024 I’ve captured many of my outdoor adventures through @compass_court… consistently being given the loving nicknames of content court & content queen, for always doin my best to naturally capture the lovely humans that surround my life — thank you friends.
Beyond being a seasoned photographer, I'm a proud dog mom to a spirited 4-year-old border collie, & happily engaged to my love Logan, who continually inspires and supports my creative endeavors as a musician himself. A natural strawberry blond -- pasta lover -- outdoor travel books obsessed -- I love to TRAVEL (who doesn't??), stay active, plan literally anything, and enjoy alll the quality time with friends and family.
Adventure & photo creativity are at the core of who I am, and I believe that love stories are best told amidst the breathtaking backdrop of our natural surroundings.
